About Windmill Players

Established in 2011, Windmill Players (formerly St. Farnan's Drama Group) is a community drama group based in west County Sligo, which is located in the northwest of Ireland.

The group initially formed in 2011 to support the local St. Farnan's Community Park and was comprised of members from Templeboy, Dromore West and neighboring parishes.

Over the years, the drama group has gone from strength to strength, entertaining audiences with performances locally in Sligo and in the north-west of Ireland.

In 2016, the drama group chamged its name to Windmill Players: the Kingsmountain Windfarm, is the back drop of the group's main rehearsal venue, the Old School House in Templeboy, Co. Sligo.
